Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services treats teen boys and girls ages 12 – 17 experiencing substance use and mental health conditions. Our campuses are beautiful, home-like settings in Sonoma County, Clovis and Riverside, California, where clients enjoy camaraderie, benefit from intensive integrated therapy, and enjoy recreation and experiential therapy activities. Boys and girls are treated and housed separately to eliminate drama and distraction. This program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for teens experiencing a range of behavioral healthcare issues, including substance use disorders, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, and suicidality. Programming is trauma-informed to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where teens can feel open and comfortable engaging in treatment and focusing on their care without distractions. First Responder Wellness is an inpatient and outpatient treatment center that works exclusively with public safety professionals to treat issues with alcohol, post traumatic stress, addiction, anxiety and depression. Our team of culturally competent clinicians have a long history of treating first responders and their families. First Responder Wellness understands the need to treat sensitive issues in a setting that is conducive to creating and holding trust and confidentiality. We are trusted by over 300 agencies across California and the U.S., and have provided trauma-based substance abuse and mental health treatment to over 750 public safety professionals. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed by our experienced, culturally competent staff that integrates substance abuse treatment with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression treatment exclusively for first responders. Clients do not need to have a substance use issue to enter our program.

Our renowned partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs treat teens ages 12-17 with mental health, addiction, dual diagnosis, and/or behavioral issues. Our licensed, specialized staff utilize evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual and family therapy, multifamily groups, psychiatry, and daily group sessions and psychoeducation (on topics such as DBT Skills, Relapse Prevention, Anger Management, and Seeking Safety.) We also integrate therapeutic modalities for addiction recovery, such as DBT for Substance Abuse, 12-Step support programs, and SMART Recovery. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation and high-risk, self-harming or suicidal behaviors. DBT is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our clients the skills needed for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, improved impulse control, and effective communication. Since we believe treatment is most successful when the entire family is involved, we incorporate Parent Support Groups weekly as well.

Hygieia Behavioral Health Foundation provides mental health treatment to both children and adults in Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas (all of California virtually) while advocating for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized communities.
