At Evolve, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for children and adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy integrated with Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and other data-driven modalities. Oftentimes this leads to them avoiding school and in-person social interaction, opting instead to immerse themselves in the online world of social media and gaming. Our students tend to implode rather than explode, and self-harm and suicidal thoughts, gestures, and attempts may become ways they have coped with their pain. Generally, Alpine students have a strong desire to be able to return to the hobbies, interests, and activities that they used to enjoy doing.
