A partial hospitalization program is often the next step after those in recovery have attended a residential addiction treatment program or a detox program. When you are in the early stages of addiction treatment, you may want to enter a residential program. In this level of care, you live on-site at an addiction treatment center. This program provides around-the-clock support to help you to manage triggers and temptations to use drugs or alcohol again. When you enter PHP treatment, you get a similar level of accountability and structure. However, you also have flexibility, which allows you to sleep at home or in some form of community housing. When you enter our partial hospitalization program at Bonfire Behavioral Health, you are able to transition from a detox or residential treatment program, allowing you to move into a slightly more flexible treatment program. However, partial hospitalization programs still offer high levels of support. An intensive outpatient addiction treatment program is an outpatient addiction treatment option that our experts have designed for those who have already finished an addiction treatment program.
