At Scottsdale Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer personalized care for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. Our CTC provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) — an evidence-based approach to treating opioid addiction that is recommended by respected organizations such as the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Many people are familiar with the basic services of a methadone clinic but may be less aware of the comprehensive care a MAT program can provide. Our MAT program offers methadone, a prescription medication that can help relieve the painful withdrawal symptoms that people may experience when they stop using opioids. We also include individual counseling as a key part of the treatment process. By receiving medication and therapy in MAT, you can improve functioning, focus on the recovery process, and enhance your ability to remain in treatment, among other benefits. Embark Behavioral Health in Phoenix, Arizona, previously known as Doorways Counseling Center, is an outpatient treatment program whose therapists help adolescents, teens, and young adults with mental health issues. Our outpatient treatment helps young people struggling with issues like eating disorders through an intensive outpatient program (IOP), an eating disorder IOP, and a therapeutic day treatment program (also known as a partial hospitalization program, or PHP). In Balance, is a Joint Commission accredited and state licensed intensive outpatient program dedicated to providing top quality, interactive services for clients with substance abuse and mental health co-occurring disorders. Its very name is derived from its commitment to address all four elements of an individual's human being: physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. In Balance works in three different ways: using a 12-step curriculum, group therapy led by a skilled clinician and incorporating experiential based therapy. Our philosophy is that by mixing up the different modalities, the group members feel an excitement about each and every session. Our program is currently only serving adults 18 and older.

Oasis Behavioral Health provides two separate intensive outpatient programs (IOPs): an adolescent IOP for young people ages 11-17 and an IOP for adults age 18 and older. Both tracks are available for people who are suffering from mental health concerns and addictions. Intensive outpatient programming can be an ideal option for patients who do not require round-the-clock monitoring or live-in care. Those who participate in our IOPs have the flexibility to continue fulfilling their responsibilities outside of treatment, whether at school, at work, or in their communities. Adolescents and adults may enter intensive outpatient treatment directly without completing a higher level of care. Patients in our IOPs attend treatment three days a week for an average of eight weeks. During this time, they may engage in several evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-Step programming, and group therapy. We also offer an education-focused support group for families and parents that takes place twice a month.

Oasis Behavioral Health, located in Chandler, Arizona, is an inpatient treatment center serving adults age 18 and older who are suffering from substance use disorders and mental health concerns. The goal of inpatient care is to stabilize patients who are in crisis and prepare them for the next phase of their healing journey. To enter treatment at the inpatient level, a person must be a danger to themselves or others, be in need of detoxification services, or have severely impaired judgment. Adults in our inpatient program must be willing to participate in treatment and take medications as recommended by their providers. While the average length of stay in this program is seven to 13 days, each patient’s actual program duration depends on the progress they make during treatment. In our inpatient setting, patients can take part in evidence-based modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and 12-Step programming.

Each adult undergoes a comprehensive assessment prior to admission that allows our team to develop a personalized treatment plan. At the PHP level, that plan may consist of medication management services, basic medical care, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and experiential therapies. Adults in the IOP participate in weekly individual therapy and a variety of daily group therapy sessions.
