At Harbor Oaks Hospital, we provide an efficient admissions process, with intake staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help people get the care they need quickly. Potential patients can contact our intake department by phone or through our website. Before admission to our depression treatment program, our team conducts an assessment for each potential patient that helps us determine if our facility is right for them. We can also verify benefits with their health insurance provider at this time. Following the individual’s evaluation, one of our doctors recommends the most appropriate level of care for them. Our team is dedicated to helping each person who turns to us for support take the first brave step toward a brighter, happier future. Sanford Outpatient Center for Addiction Treatment is conveniently located 12 minutes from Greater Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, medical detox, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living. Our facility is comfortable and beautiful, with custom furniture, original artwork, a beverage station, the Sanford Café, a discreet entrance, and free parking.

Since 2016 we have been the leader of co-occurring addiction/mental health treatment services in Michigan. Sanford Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders (Sanford CTED) offers a full continuum of care for eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. We are located 12 minutes from Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. Programs are residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient, and outpatient groups. Therapy may be individual or group; we utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, interpersonal, and family systems therapy. Clinical therapists and registered dieticians lead the groups. Emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT) is our primary family modality. Therapy includes immediate family members whenever possible, especially younger individuals still at home. We practice a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, which honors body diversity and encourages movement for health and enjoyment, not to lose weight. Our ultimate goal for everyone we treat is to return to intuitive eating behaviors – eat when hungry, and stop when full.

Founded in 2015, Sanford Behavioral Health is licensed and accredited as a substance use disorder, eating disorder, and co-occurring mental health treatment facility, serving Greater Grand Rapids, all of Michigan and beyond. Our Addiction Treatment Program incorporates a full continuum of care for adults 18 years+. Sanford has a psychiatrist-led team of medical, clinical, and support personnel providing medication-assisted, evidenced-based treatment to residential, outpatient, and telehealth patients. We also have outpatient therapy in-person and via telehealth. Residents live onsite while they attend group, individual, and family therapy sessions, receive medical and psychiatric check-ups and participate in wellness activities. This option provides 24/7 access to the support of our medical team. Our clinicians offer specialized care and follow a program accentuating each person’s inherent values and strengths. Specialized gender-specific sessions and outside recovery or 12-step meetings are included in the program. Rigorous excursions rekindle previous passions for nature, art, movement, etc.
