Harmony Place Monterey is a transitional living treatment center on the Central Coast of California. It's a one-of-a-kind outpatient alternative to residential care, featuring an intensive, three hours a day Outpatient Program or as a six hours a day Partial Hospitalization Program. Dr. Daniel E. Bruzzone, PsyD, QME, Clinical Director of Accent On Wellness Psychology Associates, Inc. (formerly Social Science Consulting), specializes in Clinical and Forensic Psychology. His background also includes military and aviation-related experience, and he is bilingual (English/Spanish). Dr. Bruzzone has provided mental health services to diverse populations, and in varied settings throughout the Los Angeles area, since 2002. In addition, Dr. Bruzzone is qualified to perform POST-type pre-employment appeal assessments for police and public safety applicants, having completed over 200 of them for jurisdictions throughout California. Back2Basics is a Residential Treatment Center that combines addiction treatment program therapeutic counseling with experiential outdoor adventures to treat individuals with substance and alcohol addiction and lead them through rehab and recovery into long-term sober living. The program is highlighted by spending time in the beautiful serene wilderness where individuals are physically challenged, their minds are cleared and they learn ways to defeat old addictive thinking patterns through various outdoor adventures.

We accept Medi-Cal through the Central California Alliance for Health, Medicare and some private insurance. If you are paying privately, you will be responsible for a portion of the fee based on a sliding scale related to your monthly family income. The Lotus Collaborative offers holistic behavioral health recovery services for individuals struggling with their mood, trauma, food and eating disorders through in-person and virtual programs. Lotus strives to create a recovery environment in which clients feel heard, ​respected and empowered, through ongoing collaboration between clients and the treatment team. All staff are sensitive to sexual orientation and gender identity as key issues in the recovery process and hold the understanding that “recovery” will vary from person to person. TLC offers two tracks to recovery: 1) The TLC Eating Disorder Track specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, compulsive exercise and any other ways disordered eating may show up in individuals of all identities. 2) The TLC Mood & Trauma Track focuses on the treatment of trauma and mood disorders including, but not limited to: PTSD, depression, anxiety and stress.

We provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely. At Evolve Walnut Creek, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety; and daily academic support. Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, hiking, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.
