We offer residential treatment and boarding schools for teenage girls ages 14-18 in Utah and throughout the United States. We help to empower your child with the skills to heal from life's traumas and give families a chance to move forward together. With an emphasis on family-focused treatment, we help adolescent and teen girls overcome difficult mental health challenges through family-focused therapy and create lasting change that heals and empowers young women.

This is a Mental Health Trauma Residential Extended Care Program treating dual diagnosis, trauma/PTSD, borderline personality disorder, addiction and eating disorder issues as well as other mental health issues, with a trauma base. This is a residential extended care program where individuals live and work on their issues with Psychiatrist, therapists and life coaches in therapy sessions. The program runs between three and six months for each person depending upon what they need to recover from and move themselves into successfully. We have a huge variety of programs and the residents will have a few core groups to do together including equine assisted psychotherapy and equine riding therapy, but will individualize their treatment past that point to achieve their goals. We provide a full continuum of care at locations around the country, including residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; telehealth; and alumni programming. All of our programs have received accreditation from the Joint Commission for Behavioral Healthcare, the nation’s most respected healthcare accreditation body. Our continuing care program provides ongoing support through virtual sessions, and our robust Alumni department keeps former clients connected through online and in-person events and support groups. Whether an adolescent needs a higher level of care, is stepping down from residential care and needs continued structure and community in our Partial Hospitalization Program, or needs several days per week of after-school support through our outpatient services option, our range of programming meets each young person and family where they are.

Sunrise is a group of residential treatment centers for adolescent and teen girls in Utah. Teenage girls come to Sunrise to find healing as they learn to regulate their emotions and successfully manage daily life tasks with increased independence – all while continuing their education. Sunrise’s treatment programs are strength-based, working closely with each student to develop strengths and harness her gifts, passions, and talents.
