Petoskey Center provides patients with the opportunity to experience intensive treatment without the need for inpatient or residential psychiatric hospitalization. Patients can continue meeting their responsibilities in their communities while diving more deeply into treatment. Petoskey Center's intensive outpatient program (IOP) gives clients a safe place to (1) explore the reasons behind their psychological struggles; (2) learn and practice new skills for coping, managing, and preventing emotional crises; (3) identify a path forward for their lives; and (4) practice implementing real change both in and outside the therapy environment.
