Our comprehensive approach to treating opioid addiction involves medication-assisted treatment (MAT). We consider MAT to be the most beneficial opioid addiction treatment option because it combines the use of prescription medication with counseling services. This combination addresses the physical and psychological aspects of opioid abuse. The medication used in MAT can help ease the symptoms of opioid withdrawal, while counseling sessions can give patients the opportunity to address the emotional aspects of recovery.
