At Banyan Massachusetts, we offer a host of programs designed to help those struggling with addictions. All of our Massachusetts drug and alcohol treatment programs provide comprehensive care to address the unique needs of each patient in relation to physical, mental, and emotional health. This is a safe, innovative, and effective treatment for persistent depression that has not responded to typical antidepressant medications or first-line psychotherapy treatments. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation utilizes strong magnetic pulses to regulate activity in precisely targeted brain areas. The patient is awake and alert during the 30-minute sessions, which are scheduled daily Monday through Friday for about 8 weeks.
