Do you look at your child and know that they have resources in themselves, talents and potential, but their anxiety and depression are getting in the way? Over the course of more than 15 years as a children’s therapist, I’ve seen children go from struggling with anxiety, depression, peer relationships, parental relationships, and academics succeed by learning to tap into their own resources and talents. Most importantly, I’ve seen children learn to love themselves by embracing both their weaknesses and strengths.
I’ve helped children find the courage to face their fears and heal from past hurts. I’ve seen children embrace newfound abilities to be assertive and carry new hope. It’s been the biggest pleasure of my professional career to watch children succeed in primary, middle and high school and go on to college and succeed in their adult lives, following our work.
I work with your children by giving them tools and techniques to control behaviors that are linked to their anxiety or depression. I believe each child is unique and their challenges are linked to how they view themselves and their world. I help kids recognize and rewrite their own stories by using resources within themselves, and their family systems.
