My name is Zoey Altis, and I am a NY Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). My undergraduate background is in Speech Language Pathology prior to graduating with Psychology, with my MSW focusing on Substance Use and Co-Occuring Disorders. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with childhood and adolescent behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, school avoidance, substance use-cooccurring disorders, relationship conflict/couples, parenting skills, women’s issues, and stress management. I provide acceptance and commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, trauma informed and person centered practice.
I come from a diverse background including with adults in residential settings, children and adolescents in therapeutic day settings, adolescents on probation as well as in a probation mandated setting, as well as in clinic settings with adults 18-65+.
