I received my Doctorate and Master's Degree from Simmons College of Social Work. As one of the oldest social work programs, Simmons prioritizes understanding systems of oppression and how they impact marginalized groups. My clinical experience has primarily been working with clients during life transitions and navigating uncertainty. I have extensive training in substance use and compulsive behaviors. I enjoy working with clients through ambivalence as they navigate change. The best way to utilize your insurance and get connected with me is through Adekit: https://www.advekit.com/therapists/zoe-leary
I have training in CBT-I, STAIR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Self-Compassion (MSC), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Invitation to Change (ITC), and a strengths-based approach. I am comfortable working with people with many intersecting identities and am committed to building brave spaces with clients with cultural curiosity.
