I'd like to help people trust themselves, free themselves of ingrained "shoulds" and "musts" and become fuller versions of themselves. People work with me for many reasons - to navigate and regulate feelings of depression/anxiety, build and deepen relationships, develop self-esteem, for sexuality/gender exploration, work through creative blocks etc. I believe in fitting the treatment to the person.
My therapeutic style is warm, authentic and interactive. My post-graduate training integrates relational psychoanalysis, mindfulness, behavioral and somatic approaches. In addition to graduate training, I am trained in advanced psychoanalysis - a form of deep listening and understanding.
Many people don't know where they want to start, just that they're feeling unsettled or unsatisfied. By identifying patterns and underlying motivations, core issues become less confusing. Over time, change takes place, relationships grow more secure and intimate, self-esteem improves, emotions regulate and living in the way you'd truly like becomes easier.
