| español Clients I work with may be struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions or cultural stress. We explore family, relationships, and culture to see how our stories were written, and how to begin to write them for ourselves. I created Historia Therapy to connect with the Latinx community and help emphasize the strengths of our culture and decrease cultural stigmas and expectations that impact our wellbeing. I believe it is important to assess how trauma, or any mental health struggle, may be impacting mind and body. We will work toward managing mental, emotional, and physical symptoms and sensations that client's may be struggling with. Sessions including talk therapy, as well as grounding and relaxation techniques to build resiliency and calm.
