My name is Zafria Bailey, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who enjoys working with individuals who desire to lead healthier lives. My areas of focus are Depression, Stress Management, Self-efficacy/Esteem, and Anxiety. Treatment is always determined in collaboration with clients and focused on enhancing client strengths, solution-focused, and empowerment. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Narrative therapy are evidence-based online treatments that can be just as effective as face-to-face treatments.
I enjoy working with adult clients ages 21 and older who have issues with anxiety, increased stress, mild to moderate depression, and poor self-care and self-esteem. These issues can come from various environments such as home, school, work, and cultural.
I became a therapist so that I could provide a space for people who often feel misunderstood. As an introvert, I know what it feels like to be in your head, unable to find your words and feel deeply. My passion is the joy I get from hearing clients express how liberated it feels when they "are seen" and free to live more fulfilling lives.
