I work with individuals, couples, and families from a range of experiences, but find that most are dealing with some form of anxiety, depression, or shame-based symptoms. It can be very difficult to address these issues with others in our lives for a number of valid and practical reasons. As a therapist, I offer a safe, private, and nonjudgemental space for people to begin discussing and exploring these often uncomfortable parts of self, with the hope that more understanding will lead to a lessening of symptoms, as well as a clearer path forward.
I am trained in E.M.D.R. and Internal Family Systems, both of which can be used to treat common symptoms, as well as those with more complex or traumatic histories. I have a certificate in psychedelic therapies and integration through Vital's year long program, and have completed my level II training through the IFS Institute.
Choosing to attend therapy is very brave. Know that it is my job to make sure you feel at ease in my office or online, and that I will never ask a client to speak about/move toward an area of their life they are not yet ready to attend to.
