I believe that one of the most healing aspects of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client which is one intended to be that of a traveling companion rather than an "expert"-"advice receiver". This is why I tend to pay special attention to the formation and maintenance of that relationship in order to help others explore what matters to them and engage with that in the face of mental health barriers. I have been able to work with individuals that find themselves struggling with lasting impacts of trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal concerns, and life transitions.

I have found that using a multitude of tools is beneficial in therapy. That being said, I tend to lean on acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I like to tie all of these together with a focus on the interpersonal dynamics of the here and now of what is happening at any given moment in session.
