I am Dr. Koba, a licensed clinical psychologist. I specialize in working with couples, women, and men. I provide psychotherapy and coaching. I work with couples helping them improve their relationship through improving communication, intimacy, and connection. I also work with pregnant and postpartum women as well as women who struggle with parenting issues and work/life/career balance. I work with men helping them find their authentic self. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and direct. I believe that together we can change the way you think, interact, and relate to others and yourself.
I believe safe, non-judgmental space of absolute, radical acceptance that I create in my office, helps my clients explore their feelings and emotions and create the change they desire. I work by collaboratively setting achievable, realistic, measurable goals with my clients.
My first degree was in comparative literature and even though I love literature and languages, working with people, facilitating, creating, and seeing real change in my clients is very rewarding to me. I have been working as a therapist for the past 15 years.
