As a licensed professional counselor, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and wholeness in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest decisions, so congratulations on taking that step! I practiced for 20 years as a pastoral counselor, and in the last decade earned a clinical degree to enable understanding between faith and science. Moreover, I have shifted my main focus to female clients aged 25-75 who are struggling with anxiety, depression and work life balance.
Moreover, unique stories deserve an individualized approach to care. Thus, once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen, challenge and support you along the way.
I work with adults ages 21 and up. I practice multicultural humility. I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out as I strive to create a warm, inviting environment that allows you to be open and vulnerable.
