You don’t have to let anxiety, depression, trauma, work-related stress, relationships, or anything else keep you from moving toward your goals and the life you want. We all have different lived experiences, but regardless of your current stage in life, you are worthy of living your life to the fullest. I received my MA in counseling from Northwestern University where I was trained in psychodynamic therapy (a common form of talk therapy). However, I am also a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. I specialize in life transitions and know that any change, positive or not, can at times be difficult.
Currently working under the supervision of a licensed therapist, I work with adults of all ages and older adolescents. I start with a client-centered approach, allowing you to focus on your individual strengths. I then make modifications to treatment modalities to accommodate your specific needs.
I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is an essential part of the process. So I foster a safe space to promote growth and healing. Whether you have experienced a significant life change or want to make a change, I would be honored to help you on your journey.
