| 中文 As a first generation immigrant, I recognize the unique experience individuals face in life. I am passionate about delivering quality care and service to my clients. I hopes to provide support to anyone who is going through a confusing phase or hardship. I specialize in working young adults, adults, older adults and families dealing with complex trauma, family dynamics, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, phase-of-life changes, grief and loss, as well as children with ADHD and autism.
I utilizes CBT, DBT, ACT and other therapy approaches to help clients challenge their thoughts and emotions and develop their own. I also love to apply client-entered and strength-based therapy to help clients feel comfortable sharing their feelings. I speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin. I provide individual and family counseling.
I believe the importance of building trust in the relationship with clients. My goal is to help clients to mitigate feelings of distress, increase self-esteem and openness to experience and enhance the client’s understanding of themselves.
