However, in reality, many situations become barriers and prevent us from enjoying life. At times, we might even feel we can't breathe. As a devoted therapist, I will work together with you to remove these barriers -- whatever the cause might be: career stress, rocky relationships, identity confusion, past trauma... You need not face your problems alone. Over years, I have witnessed changes happening, wounds healed, trust rebuilt, and fear given way to courage.
My approach for couples is the evidence-based Emotionally Focused Therapy. My individual work combines other attachment-based, affect-focused, body-mind awareness approaches including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family System and Existential Psychotherapy. I am also a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist.
Seeking help takes courage but the work will be rewarding. The action itself allows you to open a door for yourself. And you will be held solidly. I offer flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Currently I provide online therapy via a HIPAA-compliant platform. For premarital counseling, I offer two formats, therapy sessions or a series of classes.
