Hello! My name is Yesenia. My experiences span over seven years, and I’ve worked with people of various ages and diverse populations. I work with individuals struggling with issues like anxiety, depression, grief, self esteem, and coping skills. I employ techniques from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Culturally Sensitive, Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Focused modalities. My distinct care consists of listening and using reflective listening to make each client feel heard and seen.
My communication style is direct but loving. I use reflective listening as well as clarifying questions. I work to create a safe and judgment-free zone to explore life’s challenges, increase your self-awareness, get to the heart of your challenges, and walk with you as you take those first steps toward becoming your authentic self.
