Our journey in life is often filled with responsibilities towards ourselves and others. My goal is to support you in your journey of finding new coping skills/reframing your thought processes and finding healthier ways to live your best version of your life. My approach to therapy is that you are in control and I am here to support you. The analogy I like to tell my clients is that "you are the driver of the car and I am next to you
holding a compass. If you want to go North, we'll go North. If you want to go East, we will go East." There will be times that I will challenge you and will suggest "what about West?" I will always respect my client's decision if they do not want to but learning more about why and challenging you when needed can be part of your journey if you desire.
