My therapy style is an integrative approach (person-centered, trauma-focused, and mindfulness techniques). We found EMDR therapy extremely helpful to clients suffering from simple and complex trauma. As a registered play therapist, we incorporate sand tray techniques, art/crafts, drawing, and journaling, among others, with kids, teens, and families.
My goal as a therapist is that clients find themselves participating in a safe and non-judgmental setting when attending their sessions, regardless of age. It is essential to provide a warm, encouraging, and open environment for you. I consider myself a creative therapist with a positive attitude and a healthy sense of humor.
