“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Carl Gustav Jung. I think this Jung’s quote is the best answer to the questions: “What is therapy?”, “Do I need therapy?”, and “Why to be in therapy?”, this is the best place to start. When we find ourselves in the darkness, overwhelmed by depressed feelings or anxious thoughts, feeling helpless or maybe even feeling trapped, losing hope and not being able to see the way out, it is hard to remember that you are not alone. I believe in the inner depth, uniqueness and complexity of human beings.
Inspired by the history of psychoanalysis, in my work I apply psychodynamic and existential theories that allow us to look deeper inside, to find and understand what these patterns are that our brain learned while growing up and despite not working for us they keep controling our lives, but the good news is - what our brain learned it can relearn.
I provide a safe, warm, nonjudgmental space where personal growth begins. My favorite work moment is when my client is able to let go of their fears and get very curious about themselves, others, and the world.
