Kristin is a licensed professional counselor, nationally certified counselor, & certified trauma therapist. Her primary work has been with posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, supporting those through phase of life difficulties, sexuality/relationship issues, depression, & assisting those who have or care for those with long term chronic illness & injury. She creates an environment of warmth, caring, humor, & authenticity to help those that want to work on acute issues as well as those who are evolving to be their most grounded & true self. We all have unique life experiences that have shaped our feelings and responses. All of us can feel overwhelmed by life at times. We are often filled with regrets, resentments and sometimes, this is compounded by past traumatic experiences, relationship issues, and grief. I particularly enjoy helping people achieve resiliency. I currently use the Benson-Henry Institute at Harvard Medical School’s “Stress Management and Resiliency Program.” I am certified to provide this program and have seen tremendous results. I enjoy helping with PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.

As a psychotherapist, I take an integrative approach to healing and work with the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. My goal is to assist in facilitating lasting change and empower individuals to feel more grounded in the present and hopeful about the future. I enjoy working with young adults who are ready to feel differently.
