Difficult relationships are something that almost everyone has to deal with at some point in their lives. However, it is how a person deals with that relationship that counts. I help individuals learn how to manage relationship issues in a healthy manner, and try to help them recognize and stop destructive patterns. I do this by helping my clients identify the core of their relationship issues. Many people have not yet healed from childhood wounds and traumas, and these things are causing them to be attracted to difficult people or even causing them to sabotage their own otherwise good relationships.
I work with codependency, relationships, and trauma. Most of us have experienced some sort of trauma that has impacted our lives. I use EMDR, Family of Origin understanding, Brain Spotting, and some behavioral. I have men's groups for sexual addiction and women's groups for the spouses of addicts.
HART (healing and reprocessing trauma) and Couples Intensives are 3 day intensives. We work on your personal wounds using EMDR and Brainspotting, written work, DVDs on trauma and processing your life experiences and how you see them as an adult. Intensives are custom tailored to your needs.
