In my history I have known times of uncertainty, fear, self doubt, confusion, internal and external turmoil. I'm not afraid to say I have been there. Having someone there with understanding, relatability on a level playing field is where I seperate myself from other therapist. My role with you is to help navigate, guide with my life, and educational experiences. I have overcome adversity and believe I can help you do the same.
Let me introduce myself, I am Alex a husband of 13 years, father of 3 and business owner. I am a West Michigan native and former athlete. I have experienced adversity all the way from the football field to the dysfunctional family system and everything in between. I started my education in clinical therapy to impact the individual in the community.
As a therapist my skill includes a trauma treatment called "Brainspotting", Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialetical Behavioral Thearpy (DBT) and motivational Interviewing. I have worked through the years with a wide array of mental and emotional issues through my speciality is addiction and domestic violence issues.
