As a mental therapist, my ideal client is an adult facing challenges such as parenting, trauma, stress, men’s issues, anxiety, depression, or burnout. They seek a supportive environment to explore their thoughts and feelings. Their needs include strategies to manage stress, tools for coping with trauma, and guidance in enhancing parenting skills. They aim to improve emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being. I enjoy helping clients build skills and manage their mental health, empowering them to overcome difficulties and achieve personal growth.

My approach centers on the mind-body connection. My goal is to facilitate deep healing with psychosomatic therapy. Through interpersonal and systemic traumas, unmet needs throughout life, and generally overwhelming situations, disconnection and an inability to cope can arise. Using approaches, like IFS and Brainspotting, we will work together to process emotions and distress and increase your ability to be present in your life. Through an attuned presence and your mindful awareness in therapy, you can engage in healing and connection to yourself and the world around you.

I have extensive training and many years of experience working with borderline personality disorder, trauma, anxiety and mood disorders. I believe it is necessary to provide collaborative, compassionate, and evidenced based care that is mindfully adapted to each person.

Life transitions and relationships can be both beautiful and difficult. Everyone deserves a safe space to share and explore their thoughts and feelings. Often through reflection, when we allow ourselves to slow down and notice what we are experiencing in the moment, true self discovery and capacity from within can be found and cultivated. With compassion and openness I walk along side my clients as they work towards relief and resolution. I utilize a blend of traditional therapy approaches along with experiential modalities such as Brainspotting, Mindfulness exercises, and Guided Visualizations to tailor the therapeutic experience.

“What matters?” This is one of the most important questions I can ask of my clients. Without knowing what matters what they are passionate about, neither of us know why we are in the “room." To figure out the why (Why WOULD I do my homework, why would I go to practice, etc.) gives us a meaningful direction. Also let’s talk about fun. Isn’t that the whole point of NOT being an adult? If I’m not enjoying the session, I can bet my client is definitely not. I work hard to ensure a relaxed and welcoming environment that is filled filled with unconditional positive regard, hard work, humor, flexibility and appreciation, and fun.

Are you struggling with racing thoughts, continued unwanted behaviors, negative self-talk, low motivation, or just feeling stuck? It is not the easiest decision to ask for help, yet taking care of your mental health is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. We cannot always tackle these difficulties all on our own, so reaching out for guidance through therapy shows strength, courage, and motivation.

Recovery is a long and arduous journey and I am invested in walking with my clients through the deepest darkness as well as the brightest days. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, thus providing recovery-focused psychotherapy to individuals battling an eating disorder is my primary specialty. I am invested in long-term therapy that hinges on the relationship that develops over time. The ideal client for me is someone who is motivated to move forward and improve upon his or her quality of life, and who has a willingness to try new things, even when they are frightening.

I work with individuals, couples, and families in the Mequon/Milwaukee area. However, I can meet with anyone who lives in Wisconsin via teletherapy. I also have an active LCSW license in IL and TX as well. I specialize in working with children as young as 9, teenagers, and young adults struggling with anxiety symptoms, self-confidence, or relationship/peer concerns. I also work with adults of all ages who seek guidance with personal growth. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about the therapy process through email, or I offer a free 20 min phone consultation.

Relationships can be our greatest source of motivation, purpose, and vitality, as well as our greatest source of suffering. The more a relationship means to us, the more painful it can be when it's not working. Fortunately, I believe that even seemingly minor shifts in awareness and behavior have the capacity to transform a relationship. I work with individuals and couples to identify the source of disconnection in their relationships, understand themselves and others more deeply, and learn how to reconnect with themselves, partners, family members, and friends.

After establishing a trusting relationship with my clients, I work towards identifying their issues followed by setting mutually-agreed upon attainable goals; one step at a time. I personally believe that the success gained by smaller increments builds confidence which eventually motivates us to achieve more. My clients set the pace; determining just how quickly or slowly they want to proceed. While some only need a few sessions a month, others prefer a more frequent schedule. As a tele-therapy provider I offer the security of a private, confidential “office” with the ease of “meeting” you anywhere at times convenient to you.

My outpatient practice specifically centers on patients who have Autism and one or more additional mental health diagnoses. Studies have shown that over 70% of individuals with Autism likely have at least one co-occurring mental health disorder. At times, the combination of Autism + behavior problems + any mental health disorder makes recovery a challenge. It is my hope that providing treatment for my patients and their families which is tailored to their specific diagnoses combination will help provide the knowledge and support needed for success.

I work with people who want to start or continue their journey in healing from trauma, clients who may be struggling to navigate what it means to be neurodivergent and clients who want to learn more about their own identity throughout this process. Together, we can work on reducing shame, blame and guilt surrounding traumas, decrease hypervigilance and avoidance to work toward valued living.

I'm currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in training (LPC-IT) under direct supervision at Integrated Counseling. My ideal client is feeling stuck and frustrated. Maybe it is because of stress, career, relationships, and/or their critical internal voice, but they want a change and they want it yesterday. They want to envision a future that is true to their values and excites them.
