These include: sand tray, Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Holographic Memory Resolution (HMR), guided relaxation and journeying on an infrared and bio-acoustic mat, and therapeutic art such as dioramas, mask making, and left handed self portrait drawing.
What drives my 25 year experience in the field of clinical psychology is a superpower that I believe belongs to everyone, sacred curiosity. In partnering with my client to develop this superpower we build the foundation for the following: healing past trauma, working through loss and transition, developing a consistent emotional regulation practice, harnessing creative energies in productive ways, building self-awareness without judgement, and fostering conflict resolution skills that bring harmony to social relationships. Clients who are drawn to my work seek creative embodied ways of healing and self-exploring.

Through a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens, I incorporate concepts of Psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems therapy.
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? You’re stuck in this cycle that you can’t consciously figure out how to change. Nobody understands and the shame gets deeper. Maybe you can’t shake the anxious voice in your head, you can’t escape the depressed part of you that keeps creeping in, or you keep hitting self destruct. Whatever the reason, I am proud of you for seeking help because being vulnerable is not easy. I want to create a nonjudgmental space where you can be your authentic self and explore deeper levels. You are the expert on yourself. I want to help you find your stuck points so that you can move for forward.

I'm glad you're here! Taking the step to seek support can feel daunting, but your courage in doing so is the first move toward the transformation you're seeking. Life can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to feel stuck, fearful, or hopeless. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, challenges in relationships, or have simply lost a sense of yourself and would like to get it back. You don’t have to face these difficulties alone. My goal is to help you move from a sense of chaos within, to genuine peace and freedom so you can flourish.

I am trained in various therapeutic approaches, including internal family systems-informed care ( IFS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed yoga/movement, and person-centered approaches.
I enjoy my work with clients who are navigating post-traumatic stress, family of origin pain, codependent attachment patterns, body image/disordered eating difficulties, religious trauma, anxiety, and depression. I affirm and value inclusivity in the therapy space for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I prioritize compassion, humor, and warmth in my work with clients. I believe each of us has an important story to tell and I work to create an empathic space for clients to begin the journey inward. My favorite part about being a therapist is accompanying clients as they realize their inherent value.

We’ll incorporate mindfulness practices to help you stay present, Internal Family Systems (IFS) to address deeper issues, and narrative therapy to reframe your story.
Warm greetings to you, neighbor. I imagine looking for a counselor is not how you want to be spending your time right now. You would rather be using your skills and superpowers. Whether it's stress from work, challenges in relationships, or that critical inner voice holding you back, you’re not alone—and change is possible. My ideal client is ready to break free from the overwhelm and envision a future that aligns with their true values.

My approach incorporates IFS, somatic, psychodynamic, existential and person centered methods.
It takes courage to seek help when you are suffering. Taking steps to improve the quality of your life is one of the most valuable gifts you can give yourself. I believe it is the job of a therapist to help people on their journey and that the therapeutic relationship is an essential part of this process. The therapist must create an environment of trust where it feels safe to explore thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental, supportive manner. In this kind of atmosphere, we can begin the work to identify strengths and diminish self-defeating thinking and behavior so that you can move forward with your life.

I also enjoy discovering and bringing unity among clients' parts or subpersonalities through the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework.
NOTE: (I work exclusively with adult females). Trauma is part of life. The lasting pain of sexual or physical abuse is obvious, but the subtlety of an emotionally neglectful or spiritually abusive upbringing often has similar outcomes of self-blaming and deep shame. It's by no mistake that my practice is called Likewise; I've struggled through the healing process, and I still get stuck. But I do the work because I value my option to thrive, and am keenly aware that my decision to do so affects those connected to me. Whether you're seeking help for others' sake or your own (or both) I'd be honored to come alongside and support you.

I'm a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist via the IFS institute.
Often my clients have been in traditional talk therapy but something still felt missing or unaddressed. They come to me looking to deepen their mental and emotional well being with something more. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, and/or boundary setting. Nearly all of my clients have experienced something in their lives that's left them changed in some way such as unhealthy romantic relationships, chronic illness, or a traumatic childhood.
