Educational Background: After graduating cum laude from Marquette University with a double major in Psychology and Professional Communications, Jeff earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology through Cardinal Stritch University.

I find inspiration in the strength and resilience I see in the work I do with my patients. Everyone has their own unique life story and worldview. These beliefs and values help establish ones character and value system. Throughout life, all people face challenges or barriers that can influence their mental health and alter one’s worldview. Vulnerability plays a key role in seeking out help and utilizing therapy to become more empowered and overcome these challenges. I believe the therapeutic process leads to restored hope, gained insight, confidence, and learning healthy ways to cope.

Counseling stinks, I tried it and didn’t think it was for me. Sound familiar? Those were my thoughts about counseling and I am wondering if you have ever felt that way? If I was offered the choice of seeing a counselor or assembling IKEA furniture with winter mittens, I would have redecorated my entire house in unpronounceable Swedish accouterments. Shunning the counseling establishment didn’t ease the sense of unhappiness I had, so I gave the system another go. This time I found a counselor that didn’t stink, a counselor that was able to see me for who I am and gave me a sense of hope I hadn’t found otherwise.

My name is Holly Neuman and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with children, teens, adults, families, and couples seeking to improve relationships, process past traumas, and work towards a more fulfilled life.

I help people who are experiencing excessive anxiety, whether it’s panic attacks, unrelenting worries, incapacitating phobias, etc, or unwanted obsessive thoughts & compulsions (OCD), learn to overcome feelings of hopelessness, frustration, shame and loneliness so that they can live a rich and meaningful life without feeling judged or unsupported. Therapy is provided exclusively via teletherapy for adults (18+). I am also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota, School of Social Work.
