I have been involved in the mental health substance abuse field as a counselor for over fifteen years. Currently my credentials and experience allow me to counsel individuals in a variety of areas. I believe there is a strong need for helping individuals with men's issues, substance abuse, family issues as well as counseling for a broad range of mental health issues. My passion is to contribute in a small way in helping individuals obtain a better quality of life in any of the areas they may be struggling with or having difficultly in be it personal or otherwise.
I use an eclectic counseling style which includes a variety of counseling techniques. Each issue may require a specific or different approach based on the needs, issues, and ability of a particular individual, couple or family. I may use any one or a combination of approaches.
My education, work experience, and personal experiences lend in a unique way in helping individuals reach their stated goals in the counseling setting. I have a heartfelt desire to help people overcome personal difficulties by gaining a sense belonging within the family,community, and in some situations rebuild their lives.
