Relationships and trauma are my focus. I work with couples and individuals to help create more security in how people relate to themselves and those around them. I have a substantial capacity for being present with people working with extreme emotions and painful conflict; providing insight and modeling compassion. Blending therapeutic approaches with mindfulness and grounding techniques, I focus on the here and now to help clients recognize and work on their patterns as they arise in the moment. My experience addressing the socialization of men in our culture and masculinity issues also aid the self-discovery and healing process
Individuals I work with are on a path of both healing and self discovery. We work to develop self understanding, tools for engaging in the world, and strategies for healing the wounded parts of themselves. Couples I work with are often dealing with overwhelm related communication difficulties, challenges of feeling connected, and healing from betrayal.
It is an honor to witness the change and transformation that occurs when my clients go deep to do meaningful work. By bringing warmth and lightness to my interactions with clients, I create a safe environment in which they feel comfortable revealing their deep, tender side.
