Just as you would gather tools, skills, and a plan before going into the unknown wilderness so should you before exploring your own internal wilderness. The desire to discover our internal parts and heal from trauma, overcome daily obstacles, reconnect with passion and purpose, and uncover hidden strengths can be as daunting as it is exciting. But where to begin? Together we can safely navigate and face any issue instead of avoiding, ignoring, or numbing them. Through multifaceted compassionate and direct therapy we’ll develop the tools, skills, and internal map to connect you to your true self and help you live more authentically.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, addiction, recovery management, sex addiction, codependency/intimacy disorders, grief/loss, relationship and sexuality problems, and existential issues of purpose, passion, and identity. The first and hardest step is to accept that you don't have to journey or struggle alone and that asking for help is healthy.
We all inherently have the skills and parts needed to heal ourselves and through courageous self-exploration we get to discover, understand, and connect with our core strengths. I use a multifaceted Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapeutic approach influenced by Gestalt, ACT, and CBT interventions to tailor each session to my client's individual needs.
