I view life as an ongoing journey for everyone and on this journey of life, we all have life controlling issues that prevent us from achieving our purpose in life. My purpose as a counselor is not to tell you what is wrong in your life but to come along with you in this journey of life and help you to recognize those barriers that prevent you from achieving your purpose in life, until you come to the point where you can finish your life journey on your own.
I am passionate about helping people with life controlling issues to find healing and purpose in their life journey. I do this by using counseling techniques to help you identify barriers in your life, help you set goals, and find a purpose in life that will help you to live according to your values and beliefs.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults with substance use and mental health issues. I have years of Pastoral experience helping individuals with spirituality, and years helped individuals who are involved with DHS and the Court systems. I have been a foster parent and I adopted my son at the age of 12 as a single parent. I can relate to you!
