As a retired pastor and a counselor, I work with those who are tired of seeing themselves as victims, trapped by poor life choices or life events, by meeting clients' needs holistically by recognizing and being willing to work with all aspects of their life jour, ney including the spiritual aspects. I am SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts), trained for pre-marriage and marriage counseling. Other things about me are that I am a long-term gastric cancer survivor of 24 years. I enjoy helping clients with the transitions in life, no matter if they are health, relational, or career.
I earned my master's in counseling and my internship at Well Connect Counseling Center supervised by Dr. Ontiveros has allowed me to work with first responders, their families, and all the life issues they face arising from their high-stress occupations. I work with couples to recover from infidelity, addictions, anxiety, stress and other issues.
I am retired from the Army (after 25 years). I served for 15 years as the Lead Pastor for Open Gate Community Church. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 42 years and have two grown kids and two grandchildren.
