I believe every individual is an unfolding story. Each decision we make, both big and small, effects our storyline; As an eclectic therapist, I use many approaches because I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all therapy. Each person has learned beliefs they bring into new relationships. Helping to uncover how those beliefs effect their lives is often key to the source of their problems and being able to decide what works for them.
I have worked intensively with adolescents on a broad spectrum of issues; behavioral issues, substance abuse, sexuality and peer pressure. The teen years are important years in the development of your child and how they navigate these early life stressors sets a foundation for the rest of their lives.
I also work with couples as they learn to communicate more effectively with one another and as a result a deeper appreciation for the relationship. I'm not just a silent observer in the room but rely on the collaborative process between client and therapist. Saturday appointment times are available.
