Greetings! I have been in practice with Staten Island patients for 42 years and have expanded my practice into Middlesex Co., NJ. I am only doing tele-therapy sessions. The problem areas that I have worked most with are marital, anxiety based and depression cases. I work with individuals and couples. In recent years, I have worked with bereavement cases. I have catered to a middle class, mostly civil service clientele. I work closely with Police, Fire Fighters, Teachers, etc. It is my priority and responsibility to see that you are comfortable in the therapy session. That is my job! I utilize most insurances.
My background and training have been in Rational Emotive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. They are proactive, cognitive-behavioral based methodologies whereby I will engage you in conversation and not sit back and watch you talk as I nod my head! We will create solutions that will help you become stronger and happier!
It is my intention to keep your stay in therapy as short term as possible. I am a firm believer in giving homework and reviewing the challenges that you have encountered in between our sessions. I am available for both phone and video sessions. We'll work together in helping you achieve your mental health goals!
