Welcome, I'm Jeton. My approach is to be a co-collaborator in your journey towards mental wellness. Promoting resilience & self-efficacy is a core part of my approach. Together we can work to develop skills & techniques that will make us more adaptable in reactive situations, life transitions, & unexpected adversity. My fields of interest include, but are not limited to depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, & men’s issues. I have worked with individuals from various backgrounds, including folks within the LGBTQ+ community, college-age students, & men of advanced age.
My approach includes using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Internal Family Systems (IFS) with the intent of establishing both an understanding of the sources to our distress, as well as identifying the means to taking corrective action on them. My role will be to provide unconditional positive regard & care as we approach your goals.
I believe what we value as individuals is an important factor in achieving our goals within the therapeutic process. One aspect of my approach is to take inventory of these values and leverage them to reach the “true self”, or the part of each of us which embodies calmness, clarity, compassion, confidence, & courage.
