As an integrative practitioner, I meet clients where they are at in life. Healing and wellness is part of our life journey, and reaching out to others is often a necessary part of the healing process. Life hands us tough challenges, these are not meant to break us, rather to help us define who we are and better understand what our journey means. Often times we feel like we are broken, or simply don't fit in; these are opportunities to intentionally explore whether we are living our authentic life, or trying to follow someone else's path.

I try and help people increase the "quality" of their lives which often means helping people whose thinking/behavior and feelings don't seem to connect.I use many different approaches to therapy and draw upon numerous orientations if helpful to the client's goal of change. I strongly advocate for the mind/body connection; healthy mind helps the body be healthier. Past issues are of importance but don't have to be the major focus. I can help you with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and PTSD. I am proud to be a Tricare provider.

I work with people who have become disconnected from parts of themself leading to dissatisfaction in their life. This may show up as anxiety, insomnia, or trauma responses. I support people in recognizing, listening, and attending to all parts of themselves which will lead to healing and growth. By tuning into ourselves we begin to shift the narratives and connect to the person we want to be.

I work with adolescent and adult individuals, families, and couples that are looking to understand themselves and relationships more intimately. Often people come to therapy during a transition and have a desire to talk about their strategies and skills for navigating their life experience.

My ideal client is looking to gain insight into their life. They want to improve what they have, work toward goals that are important to them, and is interested in learning about how the relationships they have and had impact them. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are looking to find a new balance in life as they are exploring or actively going through different life transitions.

Our goal at Edelweiss Behavioral Health is to provide specialized treatment to individuals struggling with Eating Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders. We provide group therapy and individual therapy. We are now also offering medication management! Our experienced staff works collaboratively with each client to provide patient centered, individualized support to encourage recovery goals. Please note, we do see individuals with any mental health struggles, however we only do Intensive Outpatient Treatment (group therapy) for those struggling with Eating Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders.

As a licensed therapist, I often see people who are struggling with life transitions, grief and loss, infertility, adoption, parenting/empty nesting, mid-life struggles, health related concerns or moving into a new phase of life. Often they feel anxious, sad, confused or overwhelmed. My training and expertise helps people gain insight to navigate these challenges and move forward with confidence. Our work together will help you find relief from second guessing yourself, develop the ability to manage difficult emotions, and gather the tools to live with more peace and ease.

My real passion is in helping my clients step into their own power. I focus holistically on the whole person, which includes the mind, body, spirit and emotion. I believe that all 4 areas are needed to fully heal. I use a variety of holistic and alternative experiential practices to assist in accelerating one's healing process. Through this approach individuals are able to shift out of old patterning, self-limiting beliefs, thoughts, and habits. I am able to help one get to the deeper core issues that are blocking them from living a full and happy life.

I believe that every person has the ability to grow, change and overcome obstacles in their life. Within the nurturing environment of a therapeutic relationship, individuals can deepen their understanding of themselves, while learning new ways to handle life's difficulties. I strive to be compassionate, non-judgmental, genuine and down-to-earth, so individuals feel safe and comfortable sharing their deepest feelings. Forensic Evaluation Services (FES) was established in 2023. It is owned and operated by Dr. Jeffrey M. Washelesky, a licensed psychologist based out of Madison, Wisconsin. He specializes in clinical and forensic psychological evaluations and consultation.

Being a former classroom and special education teacher, I love helping families whose children are for any reason struggling in school, as I know what happens at school impacts the family and vice a verse. I also love working with relationships within families, and supporting all kinds of parents as they strive to best the best parents they can be. Sometimes this even includes working with individuals and couples who are struggling with the relationships in their lives.
