Together we will find ways to disrupt unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving and find new ways to respond and react when things get stressful.
Many of us struggle daily with issues like anxiety, stress, depression, anger or just feeling misunderstood. We may feel stuck and ashamed at our inability to just will ourselves into being "better". This internal suffering is so common, but the good news is we all possess an internal capacity for change. It hurts to feel "stuck", but making changes can also be hard to do on our own. I have years of experience working with folks with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction, stress and other personal challenges. I am specially trained and committed to supporting clients in the LGBTQ community and immigrant populations.

I specialize in supporting women as they navigate self esteem, stress and relationships.
Are you struggling with prioritizing yourself without feeling guilty? Do you put yourself last on you feel like you are constantly prioritizing the needs of others over your own? You don’t recognize the women you see in the mirror and you wonder how this has happened. Have you lost sight of your goals, desires and personality? Your mood frequently fluctuates and you just can’t seem to keep it stable? You’ve read self help books, watched Tiktoks and talked to your friends yet you haven’t been able to shake the feelings you have. Relationships with peers, family and partners are overwhelming and at times you just want to run away.

But after years of research and education on occupational stress and recovery, I also know how to come back from and stay ahead of it.
Burnout's tough. Wherever you are in your life and career, odds are you worked hard to get there. But it's different than what you expected. Milestones and achievements have come and gone, but the responsibilities and demands are piling up. You push to show up for your clients, colleagues, family, and friends, but it's hard. When you're constantly monitoring that phone, waiting for the next anxiety cascade or feeling overwhelmed with everything waiting on you, there's little left for yourself. You stress, deplete, and run dry, feeling behind and wondering, "How much longer can I keep going?"

However, you're ready to make lasting changes. You’re eager to learn daily tools, explore ALL the feelings...including anxiety, and take care of your stress and exhaustion. Together, we can work towards helping you achieve a sense of relief on a daily basis.

I most often work with adolescents and adults with anxiety, ADHD, stress, and life changes.
Over the last 15+ years, I have found passion in building connections with therapy clients who want to manage stress and anxiety, work through changes in their lives, and/or live more authentically. Often, people come in to therapy having tried it before, not connecting or feeling like their provider ”got” them. My first goal for therapy is to provide a space for you to be seen, heard, and validated. This allows for development of trust and a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Through the use of EMDR, mind/body healing approaches, and holistic empowerment, I help clients to stabilize and strengthen themselves, heal trapped stress and trauma, bring the nervous system back into balance, discover self compassion, and recover positive patterns of thinking, feeling, being, and doing.
When things go wrong in life, we can get knocked off center, struggle to stay afloat, or lose our way. Sometimes we may feel we've moved on from life's hardships, but negative reactions and reoccurring thoughts and feelings can continue to reel us back, making the present feel like an ongoing struggle. Our minds, bodies, and nervous systems are remembering the memories of distressing life events, even when we don't consciously think of them every day. We get stuck in anxiety and depression- symptoms of inadequately processed, stuck distress from our lives, both past and present.
