I have over 23 years of experience as a licensed therapist in the state of Wisconsin. I earned my MSW from Florida State University. I have advanced training in Brainspotting and developmental trauma. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including adolescents, families and adults, often focusing on stress and anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse, parenting, depression and family dynamics. As an adoptee, I bring a unique personal lens to my therapeutic profession.

As a counselor, I'm a good fit for people who would describe themselves as intense, self-conscious, sensitive, and who tend to spend a lot of time "in their head." Leah’s role in treatment is as a fellow traveler for a portion of your life’s path to identify and overcome obstacles. Leah is passionate about infusing philosophical concepts of the yogic lifestyle to provide an innovative approach to therapy. She has specialized training in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative therapy, aggression replacement, and chronic suicidal ideation.
