I am a psychotherapist working in private practice with a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin, located in Mequon, WI.

I specialize in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, anxiety and panic, depression, adjustment, and personality disorders. ​ I draw from Dialectic Behavior, Rational Emotive, and Solution Focused therapies. I believe in a multifaceted approach that is person centered. My name is Michael Heidtman. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in individual and couples therapy as well as owner of the Mindfulness Project Counseling. I received a Masters degree in social work with an emphasis in mental health counseling. I have a broad range of clinical interests including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and relationship concerns. I am highly experienced working with emerging adults, including college and professionals as well as adults in their 30s-70s. I currently offer telehealth counseling 8-10am Monday and non-traditional hours 5-7pm Tuesday-Thursday and Saturdays 9-1pm.

Each of us want to find ways to recover from past wounds or change unhelpful habits. We also want to live more fully and joyfully today. I am a psychologist who specializes in offering care to adults struggling with concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness or pain, grief, and substance use or addiction. My approach to clinical work utilizes a solution-focused cognitive behavioral model of therapy. I not only believe in safety and coping skills as the root of personal change but also believe psychotherapy must offer more than the ability to cope. Ms. Bleser specializes in DBT, CPT for trauma as well as AODA/ Addiction (substances and behavior/processing addictions such as gambling, sex, and pornography). NEW Changes counseling provides trauma informed and trauma responsive care. Ms Bleser has provided dual diagnostic care for 15 years. Ms Bleser was awarded NAMI Brown County Mental Health provider of the year in 2013.
