I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. I worked with young adults as a resident assistant during my undergraduate career helped me to understand the need for more accessible mental health services within the community. This encouraged me to pursue my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and gain licensure as a Licensed Professional.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Wisconsin. I have worked in a variety of helping professions over the past 12 years. Started my career working as a sexual assault and domestic violence advocate for a non-profit program. I have a passion for advocacy and social justice.

I see children as young as 5 years old, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in working with individuals who have issues with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, trauma, PTSD, grief/loss, and substance use. I have a special interest in working with LGBTQIA individuals.

Working with clients of all age ranges, and providing holistic therapy to aid in healing --not just the mind-- but also the body with Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

I have a background in the military as well as law enforcement and corrections, so I am happy to work with these populations and be someone you can relate to.

This is the type of support that I provide my clients. I believe the client/therapist relationship is one of the most important elements of psychotherapy. I work with adolescents, adults, and their families, ages 15-100, and operate from an integrative intervention approach.

Kelly specializes in couples counseling. She utilizes the Gottman Method in all of her couples counseling. Expect meaningful and productive work, homework activities in between sessions and even some laughs when working with her. In your work together you will learn to do the small things again, change hard and damaging conversations to productive conversations allowing you to feel heard, understood and so much more. Kelly provides in-depth assessment to ensure she knows you as a couple, including both the good and bad times.

Trauma is defined as "a deeply distressing or disturbing experience". Traumatic events are life changing. Living with constant fear and anxiety as a result can be debilitating; making it difficult to connect with others and navigate the world around us. I specialize in treating child and adolescent trauma as well as individuals and families. Early on in my career I worked with high profile trauma cases. This, paired with my experience working in the school setting and my deep curiosity of neuroscience has given me a unique set of clinical skills.
