I have been a licensed psychologist in clinical practice for over 30 years in a variety of settings, most recently in private practice. I meet mostly with adults; individually, as couples for marital or relationship work, and with families, and some adolescents. I am especially interested in the treatment of chronic pain disorders, anxiety, anger and stress management issues, and assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunctions and disorders.

Alex Meitzen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2020. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from University of Wisconsin and a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. Alex's specialization is Children and Families, but she has worked with a variety of individuals. Her experience comes with providing direct mental health and behavioral psychotherapy for children, teens, adults, and family dynamics.

As a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in both English and Spanish, I specialize in supporting individuals through the complexities of mental health, particularly those navigating the impacts of trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and difficult life transitions. I am a licensed psychologist, registered nurse and certified in hypnosis. I received a doctorate in psychology from Marquette University in 1992 and Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing form the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1986. I have 30 years combined experience helping individuals with physical and emotional problems. My specialized training includes extensive experience utilizing hypnosis (200 hrs. of training) in my practice, certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) at Level 11 and treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and area of special training and the focus of my doctoral dissertation.

Additionally, she maintains standing with the NBCC as a nationally certified counselor and has licensure as a substance abuse counselor (SAC-IT). She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With more than 20 years of experience working in non-profit settings with diverse populations, Beth has had the privilege of caring for people of all ages, genders, and races, and considers it an honor to be in the mental health counseling field.
