I see individuals ages 12 and up who are seeking help navigating life changes and those wanting to start processing life stressors. This could range from those managing new relationships all the way to people transitioning out of treatment.

The Encouragement Clinic is pleased to be able to provide therapy services from multiple clinicians. We serve all ages; individuals; families and group therapy. We offer in person at our Superior location; Walk and Talk therapy ;telehealth. Several providers are trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is a trauma intervention. We provide services for grief and loss. We offer therapy for maternal mental health. We are also working in partnership with the City of Superior and the Superior school district to provide therapy services in the Middle and High Schools.

My approach is straightforward yet empathetic, creating a space free from judgment. I specialize in addressing issues like depression, anxiety, communication issues, trauma, grief, life transitions, and managing conflict and stress. I see my clients as the experts of their own lives and consider my role as that of a supportive guide. My goal is to support you as you heal from past wounds, define your future goals, and navigate daily stressors.

Trauma, a difficult childhood, deep loss—they leave a mark. We’d all love to believe that what happened “back then” doesn’t have to affect us in the “here & now.” But they do. Painful experiences change how we feel about ourselves, our relationships, and how we view the world. We want to move on but we're stuck. No matter how hard we try to push the pain back or down or away... it leaks back in and we find ourselves living in the same old pain with the same old problems: Stuck. Exhausted. Frustrated.

My focus might be short term counseling or longer term in-depth psychotherapy, depending on the needs of the client. In all cases, the client-therapist or counselor relationship quality is critical to real sustainable change.
