My name is Michael Heidtman. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in individual and couples therapy as well as owner of the Mindfulness Project Counseling. I received a Masters degree in social work with an emphasis in mental health counseling. I have a broad range of clinical interests including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and relationship concerns. I am highly experienced working with emerging adults, including college and professionals as well as adults in their 30s-70s. I currently offer telehealth counseling 8-10am Monday and non-traditional hours 5-7pm Tuesday-Thursday and Saturdays 9-1pm.

As your therapist, I am here to listen and help you process what is going on in your life and help you figure out what your options are. I will be there for you to work on your goals with you at your own pace. I believe that every one of my clients is capable of growth and it is my job to facilitate this process of building greater awareness toward becoming the person we were meant to be. I help you evaluate your unique situation so you have a better understanding of how you relate to others and give you better insight into who you are. My name is Rosangela Berbert, I'm the executive director at Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley, doing business as Samaritan, Inc. I have extensive training and experience in treating relational trauma with individuals, couples and families. I use Family Systems Therapy, IMAGO Relationship Therapy, Brainspotting and EMDR to help you experience healing and change.

I have been working as a licensed psychotherapist for the last 10 years and have additional training in Motivational Interviewing, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and PEERS social skills training from UCLA. I am also the author of Conquer Anxiety in Ten Weeks. In 2021 I decided to pursue a career as a neuropsychologist and am currently working on my PhD. With a specialization in neuropsychology I have gained training and education in brain anatomy, brain function, the relationship between the brain and behavior, and neuropsychological assessments.
