In life, there are times when we feel stuck, either in a negative mindset, bad habit or situation wondering what happened and how we arrived at such a place. Therapy is meant to create a safe space that allows emotional healing and restoration to take place through rapport building, openness, trust, and awareness.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in eating disorders, relational issues, life transitions, anxiety and depression. I use a systemic approach to therapy where I assess client's environmental factors, family structure, behaviors, cultural norms, experiences, beliefs etc. to identify all areas that may be impacting a client causing distress.
My goal as a therapist is to help you reach your goals and your fullest potential without limitations, to feel empowered and knowing how to face daily challenges and obstacles effectively. DBT group
The DBT group is designed to help high school age teenagers that are having issues navigating adolescent transitions. The group will help teens to work through their emotional distress and communicate effectively with others. We will cover 5 modules of DBT. The cost is $90 per class.
